Sam Taylor-Wood has become one of the UK’s leading photographic artists and is now establishing herself as a film director.

Much of Taylor-Wood’s work explores feelings and emotion.

  • Gracefully Suspended self-portrait series explores the feeling and perhaps euphoria of weightlessness.
  • Men Crying exposes the vulnerability and emotional side of wellknown film actors.

Taylor-Wood  has been described as a post-feminist artist. Some of her work in which she has appeared naked, for example Leda and the Swan, has attracted feminist criticism.
